"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken
joy in creative expression and knowledge."
-Albert Einstein
On August 29, 1996, I walked into my kindergarten classroom and discovered a world I never wanted to leave. Sixteen years later, I am working toward a certification in Secondary Level Language Arts and Bachelor of Arts in English at Albright College. Throughout my college experience and student teaching, I have developed an insatiable passion for teaching and creating an interactive classroom where students are safe and willing to learn. A personal quest of my mine is to instill the love of reading into my students because I live by the Dr. Seuss motto: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” This page will highlight some of the work I have put into student teaching, college coursework, and outside experience. Above the books, there is a menu to view more.
